Enjoy movement, space and radiance. This is a sun salute for mothers-to-be. Make adjustments when needed and enjoy your growing body and growing baby as you practise.

Please read the advice before starting the practise. This Surya Namaskar is for pregnant women familiar to my teaching style and have a healthy pregnancy (from 14 weeks) with no complications.

A short yoga sequence for new mums which can be practised with or without your baby.

Seated breathing, awareness of pelvic floor and movements on hands and knees (all fours) with some balance. Enjoy!

New mums should enjoy 6 weeks (8 if c-section) of nurture and relaxation before starting exercise again including most yoga asana. Please check with your health practitioner and a yoga instructor before starting any exercise making sure your are healing well.
