Here is a selection of ONE HOUR Vinyasa Flow Classes. Each class is a dynamic Vinyasa Flow class with a specific theme and awareness. Please refer to disclaimer and advice before starting a new yoga/exercise regime.

75 minute Classes exploring the Chakras

Chakra Flow - Muladhara Chakra.

The root centre. Strong, grounded and balanced. Plenty of standing poses exploring our connection to Earth and our Roots. The Root Chakra represents elimination, structure, stability, foundations, boundaries, Apana Vayu, the seat of Kundalini and our guilt as well as passions.

We use a block in the sequence but you can use a rolled up towel/blanket if you don't have a block available.

Chakra Flow - Swadisthana Chakra

From the solid and dense foundation of the Muladhara Chakra we move towards a more fluid and sensuous space. Here we are exporing the Swadisthana Chakra  where we develop pleasure, sensuality, emotions and creativity.

An imbalanced Swadisthana Chakra can show up as rigidity. Both in our mindset and in our physical body.

This class explores various hip opening practises.

Chakra Flow - Manipura Chakra

With a focus on our core, centre, solar plexus - our inner strength and radiance! Enjoy this practice for courage, optimism, personal power and self-empowerment!

An unbalanced manipura chakra can manifest as depression, low energy, digestive issues, or manipulative, anger issues and ego issues.

We use a block for a supported bridge pose - but you can do a regular setubandhasana or add cushions under the sacrum.

Chakra Flow - Anahata Chakra, the Heart centre

We are flowing with intention and mindfulness grounded in our hearts. Exploring backbends and deep shoulder openers.

When the heart centre is balanced we let go of resentment, jealousy, a deeply depressed and compressed chest and open our whole thoracic area to breath, new energy, love, compassion, and Bhakti!

We use a yoga belt in the class to explore the chest opening in Natarajasana and Dhanurasana but you can practise without a belt or use a regular belt/tie.

Chakra Flow - Vishuddi Chakra, The Throat Centre

We are going to flow, move and breathe with a focus on the Throat Chakra: communication, expression, purification, vibration and sound. The throat is the connection between body and head: Can you express what you feel, Can you bring action to your thoughts? Is your head aligned with our body? Do you live in your body or your head? The element is Space so we will flow and move. Finding our way to half and full handstands (using a wall) to experience ourselves in a different space and to free our neck and throat.

Chakra Flow - Ajna Chakra (the command centre - the third eye)

Staying grounded in our practise and in our life we can manifest our visions and dreams. We are balancing, flowing, breathing and connecting with the sound of Om.

Sahasrara Chakra (Higher consciousness - the crown centre)

Creating strength and flexibility for the possibility of sitting in a steady and pain free seat/asana to connect and merge with the Divine. Balance and Hip openers with the option of contemplation in lotus/padmasana.

Element of Earth and Elephant Headed God Ganesh - Root Chakra

The focus for our Earth practise and connection to the Root Chakra is grounding and solidity. Standing poses that create stability and strong connection through our legs and feet (or which ever body part touching the Earth). We connect to the Mula Bandha - an awareness of the pelvic floor.

Element of Water and Sacral Chakra

In the Water element we have moment, fluidity and flow. Postures to enhance our awareness of the Water Element and Swadisthana Chakra are hip openers, standing or seated. Our hips have the potential of so much movement - so much expression.

Detox and create space! Compression and Expansion...

Yoga class 31/3/11 1hour 20 min £4.99

This class has an emphasis on twists. And find the balance between the compression and expansion of breath and in our body. Letting go (detox) and creating space. Our breath leads the practice for moving the body as well as breath being the intake of oxygen and prana and the exhale letting go of metabolic waste (carbon dioxid). Here is a bit of what you will encounter in the class:
